Victor Somers

Victor would describe himself as a "late bloomer" in Jiu Jitsu. Even though he didn't start training till he was 40, his love for the sport has kept him active for over 10 years. His desire to see the sport expand in the region led him to open his own Jiu Jitsu club in 2018 with his friend and Judo coach Chris Long. The club is affiliated with and given oversight by Brazilian legend Max Trombini.  Victor is passionate about training, teaching and coaching but gets real joy out of seeing all his students succeed in life through Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Victor was recently awarded his Black Belt while on a training visit to Sao Paulo Brazil.
